Google Search Console
We use Google Search Console to monitor our website’s performance in Google Search results. This does not involve the collection of your personal data directly, but Google may process data in connection with your search activity per Google’s Privacy Policy.
YouTube
Our website displays videos embedded from YouTube (operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). When you visit a page with a YouTube video, a connection to YouTube’s servers is established and YouTube is informed of which of our pages you visited. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube can associate your browsing activity with your profile. You can prevent this by logging out of YouTube before visiting our Sites.

Google Maps

6. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Systems
In Short: We use an AI-powered chatbot on our website. We will always disclose when you are interacting with AI, not a human. We do not use your personal information to train AI models without your consent.
AI Disclosure (Required by California SB 243 and New Jersey Law): Our website uses an AI-powered chatbot. When you interact with it, you are communicating with an automated system, not a human. We will make this clear at the start of every chatbot session.
Our AI Chatbot
LSI Media’s website includes an AI-powered chatbot designed to help answer questions and assist visitors. When you use the chatbot:
• You will receive a clear disclosure that you are interacting with an artificial intelligence system, not a human being.
• We collect the content of your chatbot messages and associated session metadata (such as timestamps and session identifiers) to provide the service and improve its performance.
• Chatbot conversation logs are retained for up to 90 days, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
• If at any point you believe you need to speak with a human, you may contact us directly at info@lsi-media.com or by phone at 1.866.960.8737.
AI and Your Personal Information
We are committed to the responsible use of AI in our operations:
• We do NOT use your personal information to train AI or machine learning models without your explicit, affirmative consent. This applies to conversation data collected through our chatbot and any other personal data we hold.
• We do NOT make automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects without human involvement.
• Where AI is used to generate or assist in creating website content, we aim to be transparent about this.
Applicable Laws
Our AI disclosure and usage practices are designed to comply with:
• California SB 243 (Companion Chatbot Law, effective January 1, 2026): requires clear disclosure when users interact with AI chatbots, including specific protections for minors.
• California AB 2013 (Generative AI Training Data Transparency Act, effective January 1, 2026): governs disclosure requirements for developers of generative AI systems.
• New Jersey Data Privacy Act (NJDPA, effective January 15, 2025): requires affirmative consent before using personal data to train AI systems.
Minors and AI Chatbots
If we know or have reason to believe that a user of our chatbot is a minor under the age of 18, we will:
• Provide a clear disclosure that the user is interacting with artificial intelligence.
• Implement measures to prevent the chatbot from generating inappropriate content.
• Comply with applicable California SB 243 requirements for minor users.
7. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
In Short: We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. We have specified retention periods below.
We retain personal information for the periods set out below, or as otherwise required or permitted by applicable law. Once retention periods expire, we will delete or anonymize your information. If deletion is not immediately possible (for example, because data is in backup archives), we will securely isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

8. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?
In Short: We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information.
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. These measures include:
• Encryption of data in transit using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols.
• Access controls limiting personal data access to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
• Regular security assessments of our systems and third-party service providers.
• Incident response procedures to address potential data breaches promptly.
However, no internet-based system is 100% secure. While we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, data loss, or breach will never occur. Transmission of personal information to and from our Sites is at your own risk. Please access our services only within a secure environment.
In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and relevant regulatory authorities as required by applicable law (including within 72 hours for GDPR purposes where required).
9. Do We Collect Information From Minors?
In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.
We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Sites, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor user and consent to that minor’s use of the Sites.
If we learn that personal information from a user under age 18 has been collected without appropriate consent, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable steps to promptly delete such data from our records.

Regarding our AI chatbot: if we know or have reason to believe a chatbot user is under 18, we will provide clear AI disclosure notices, implement appropriate content safeguards, and comply with applicable laws including California SB 243. See Section 6 for details.
10. What Are Your Privacy Rights?
In Short: Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit use of your personal information. State-specific rights are in Sections 11–14.
Regardless of your location, you have the following general rights with respect to your personal information:
Account Access and Updates
You may review or update the personal information associated with your account by contacting us at info@lsi-media.com. Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases, subject to legal retention requirements.
Marketing Opt-Out
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us at info@lsi-media.com. Note that we may still send you service-related communications necessary for the administration of your account.
Cookie Preferences
You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings or through our Cookie Policy preferences center. See Section 4 for details.
Chatbot Opt-Out
Using our AI chatbot is entirely optional. If you prefer not to interact with our chatbot, you may contact us directly by email at info@lsi-media.com or by phone at 1.866.960.8737.
Residents of specific states have additional rights detailed in Sections 11 through 14. To exercise any privacy right, contact us at info@lsi-media.com or by post to the address in Section 16.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
11. GDPR — Rights for EU, UK, and EEA Residents
In Short: If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or European Economic Area, the GDPR and UK GDPR grant you specific rights regarding your personal data.
Our Lawful Basis for Processing
Under GDPR, we must identify a lawful basis for each processing activity. We rely on the following:
• Contract: processing is necessary to perform services you have requested (e.g., responding to your contact form inquiry, processing a purchase).
• Legitimate Interests: processing is necessary for our genuine business interests, including website analytics, security, fraud prevention, and improving our services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
• Consent: where we process data based on your consent, such as for marketing communications, posting testimonials, or operating our chatbot. You may withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal Obligation: processing is required to comply with applicable law.
Your Rights Under GDPR
As an EU, UK, or EEA resident, you have the right to:
• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”): request deletion of your personal data where there is no compelling reason for us to continue processing it.
• Restrict Processing: request that we limit how we use your personal data in certain circumstances.
• Data Portability: receive your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format and transfer it to another controller.
• Object: object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes.
• Withdraw Consent: withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
• Lodge a Complaint: complain to your local data protection supervisory authority. A list of EU authorities is available at http://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/bodies/authorities/index_en.htm. UK residents may contact the ICO at https://ico.org.uk.

International Data Transfers
LSI Media LLC is based in Virginia, USA. When you interact with our Sites from the EU, UK, or EEA, your personal data is transferred to and processed in the United States.
We rely on the following mechanisms for international data transfers:
• EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF): Google (including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, YouTube, and Google Maps) participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Transfers via Google services are covered by Google’s DPF certification.
• Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs): where the DPF does not apply, we rely on the European Commission-approved Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers to third countries.

LSI Media LLC does not currently meet the thresholds requiring appointment of a formal Data Protection Officer (DPO). However, we are committed to handling all data protection inquiries promptly and transparently.
12. California Residents — CCPA/CPRA Rights
In Short: California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out.
Your CPRA Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA/CPRA:
• Right to Know: you may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which we collected it, the business or commercial purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
• Right to Delete: you may request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (such as legal obligations or fraud prevention).
• Right to Correct: you may request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: we do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may submit a request confirming this at info@lsi-media.com.
• Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: to the extent we process sensitive personal information (such as precise geolocation or account log-in credentials), you may request that we limit use to purposes necessary to provide our services.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

How to Exercise Your California Rights
To exercise any of the rights described above:

• We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days.
• We will respond substantively within 45 calendar days. If we need more time (up to 45 additional days), we will notify you with the reason.
• We will verify your identity before processing your request.
• Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with written authorization.
AI Disclosure — California SB 243
Effective January 1, 2026, California’s SB 243 (Companion Chatbot Law) requires operators of AI chatbots to provide clear and conspicuous disclosure when users are interacting with AI, not a human. Our AI chatbot complies with this requirement. See Section 6 for full AI disclosure details.
California “Shine the Light” Law
Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents may request, once per year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, contact us at info@lsi-media.com.
Minors Under 18 in California
If you are under 18, reside in California, and have a registered account with our Sites, you may request removal of content you have publicly posted. Contact us at info@lsi-media.com with your email address and a statement that you are a California resident under age 18. Note that removal from public display does not guarantee complete removal from all systems.
13. Virginia Residents — VCDPA Rights
In Short: Virginia residents have rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), effective January 1, 2023, including rights to access, correct, delete, portability, and opt-out.
As a Virginia-based company (LSI Media LLC is organized as a Virginia LLC), we are committed to compliance with the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), Va. Code Ann. §§ 59.1-571 et seq.
Your VCDPA Rights
If you are a Virginia resident, you have the right to:
• Access: confirm whether we are processing your personal data and access that data.
• Correct: correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
• Delete: request deletion of your personal data.
• Data Portability: obtain a copy of your personal data in a portable, usable format.
• Opt-Out of Targeted Advertising: opt out of the processing of your personal data for targeted advertising purposes.
• Opt-Out of Sale: opt out of the sale of your personal data. We do not currently sell personal data.
• Opt-Out of Profiling: opt out of profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Geolocation Data
Effective July 1, 2026, under Virginia SB 338, controllers are prohibited from selling consumers’ precise geolocation data. We do not sell your geolocation data.
How to Exercise Your Virginia Rights
To exercise any VCDPA right, email us at info@lsi-media.com. We will respond within 45 days, extendable by an additional 45 days with notice.
Right to Appeal
If we decline to take action on your request, we will inform you of the reason. You may appeal our decision by emailing info@lsi-media.com with the subject line “VCDPA Appeal.” We will respond within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Virginia Attorney General’s Office at https://www.oag.state.va.us.
14. New Jersey Residents — NJDPA Rights
In Short: New Jersey residents have rights under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act (NJDPA), effective January 15, 2025, including AI-specific consent protections.
Important: The NJDPA’s 18-month cure period expires July 15, 2026. After that date, the New Jersey Attorney General may pursue enforcement without a prior opportunity to cure.
The New Jersey Data Privacy Act (NJDPA), P.L. 2023, c. 266, effective January 15, 2025, provides New Jersey residents with the following rights:

• Right to Access: confirm whether we are processing your personal data and obtain a copy.
• Right to Correct: correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
• Right to Delete: request deletion of personal data you have provided to us.
• Right to Data Portability: obtain your personal data in a portable, usable format.
• Right to Opt-Out of Targeted Advertising: opt out of processing your personal data for targeted advertising.
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale: opt out of the sale of your personal data. We do not currently sell personal data.
• Right to Opt-Out of Profiling: opt out of profiling used in decisions that produce significant effects concerning you.
AI and Automated Systems — New Jersey Consent Requirement
Under the NJDPA, we must obtain your affirmative consent before using your personal data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning systems. We will never use your personal information for AI training purposes without first obtaining your explicit consent. This applies to:
• Data collected through our contact form.
• Data collected through our AI chatbot interactions.
• Any other personal data we hold about you.
When you interact with our AI chatbot, you will receive a clear disclosure that you are interacting with an AI system, consistent with New Jersey consumer protection requirements.
How to Exercise Your New Jersey Rights
To submit a request, email us at info@lsi-media.com with the subject line “NJDPA Rights Request.” Privacy notices we provide are written in plain language, formatted for accessibility, and available in the languages we regularly use to communicate with consumers.
